AHLTA TST Photo Gallery
I've added a few pictures to the AHLTA TST photo gallery. I'm going to try to do about a page at a time (add 20 photos).
This page is viewable on ACC networks, so I would assume that many of you can see these pictures from work. If you have a problem with getting to it from work, let me know.
Sherri DeLuca Foundation for Brain Cancer Awareness
My friend Kristen Deluca (http://www.myspace.com/kristen_deluca or http://www.youtube.com/kristendeluca) posted a video several weeks ago regarding creation of a foundation for her mother, or in her mother's name, for the diagnosis, study, treatment and cure of various types of brain cancer.
Unfortunately, on March 13, 2008, Sherri DeLuca (Kristen's mom) passed away from the effects of brain cancer, which she was diagnosed with 2 years ago.
Simply watch the video below, and see for yourself why I'm posting it.
Do you like lasagna? I do! I made it tonight for my work potluck tomorrow, but I thought I'd share my recipe with everyone as well, so go here to check it out!
Well, folks, it's -9°F outside with a windchill hovering right around -23°F, and I decided to randomly take screenshots from 2 of the more popular weather sites, Accuweather.com and wunderground.com (respectively). See the images below!
I have just enjoyed a Yoo-hoo Chocolate Drink. Should you do the same, shake it first. If you are too lazy to drink the whole thing at once, refrigerate it after opening. These tips will ensure a safe and pleasurable experience. If you fail to follow these guidelines, injury, blindness, or death may occur. In case of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, please contact your physician. Drink responsibly.
Ok, people, listen up. I'm officially on day 5 of my trip to South Dakota, and I've loved every minute of this trip...ok, maybe not the several hours I rode through the pouring rain, but even that was an experience well worth it. At any rate, I'm now in Iowa City, Iowa, with just under 1700 miles under my belt from what used to be (and still is, to a degree) my home back in Virginia. Yes, that's 1700 miles on my motorcycle, in case you were wondering. I've got about 750 miles left of my trip (yes, it got longer, dad), and I'm hoping to finish that tomorrow. That basically means I need to average about 60MPH over the course of 12 hours, which shouldn't be a problem, since the speed limit here is 70MPH-75MPH, and I hear I can do 90MPH in South Dakota. No idea what the speed limit is on 90 up there - anybody want to share? Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. I am. :)
Well, folks, I guess it's time for me to throw down some movie reviews real quick, so that's what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll even throw in some TV shows just for the hell of it. Sound good? Read more to find out!
Well, folks, it's been a few months since I last updated, and I figured it was probably time, since nobody else is going to do it for me (*glares at Doug*). I'm here in sunny Iraq, where the temperature is currently a balmy 109°F and climbing. Since it's just now getting to 1400 hours (2PM for you civilians that don't like converting military time), it's coming up on the hottest portion of the day, though some say it gets the hottest around 1700 (5PM), since the sun's been out that whole time. I swear, it must be thinning atmosphere or something that makes this place like walking through a blast furnace, but I guess maybe it's just the way it is. I'm enjoying myself out here, for the most part. I've got good people to work with (though one freaks me out all the time), and I enjoy most of what I do. The only downside is that it's going up into the 110°F+ range, and it's going to stay there almost all summer. On the bright side, I've seen some pretty cool stuff, taken some interesting video (sand-twisters, anyone?), and generally seen things that many people won't even dream about. It's a very interesting and enlightening experience being out here. I'll try to update again soon. Til then, peace! Ciao!

This whole thing is automated, so it will take care of itself while I'm away. It makes it very easy for me. :)
If you have any questions, better call me, since I'm losing internet as of midnight tonight. For security reasons, not going to post that number. ;)
Will miss you all. I'll be sending my mailing address to everyone subscribed to the mailer once I get to Iraq, so you can write to me. :)
Yes, folks, that's right. I have a motorcycle learner's permit. You best avoid the roads between Maine and Florida now, because I'll be all over them! I'll have company, of course, as per the regulations stated in the Virginia Motorcycle Rider Safety Guide. And I suppose you'll be safe on I-95, since I'm technically not allowed to ride on it anyway. Just do your driving at night, and you'll be fine - I can't! :P I just want to say thanks to everyone who supported me in this, and especially those who told me I'd never ride - proved you wrong! I'm good at that. :) I'll put up clear pics of my bike soon enough - I took plenty last week!
