So I've been a busy traveling guy for the last few weeks. First, I started out in New Jersey for Ubercon, then up to Vermont for my week's vacation. On my way back to Virginia last Sunday (not yesterday), I received a phone call telling me that my uncle passed away that morning, so that set in motion my trip to New York for the funeral. All this traveling completely depleted by vacation time this year. I'm really going to have to try harder next time not to use so much all at once, so I can visit my family over extended long weekends.

In brighter news, I've got me a girlfriend, one of the most spectacular women I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Her name is Rachel, she's 27, and currently resides in Chicago. How we met is a long story in and of itself, so if you have time, feel free to ask me about her. :) Just don't ask 400 questions; I don't like feeling like I'm being interrogated. :)

Dad, I miss you, hope they finish your house so I can come down and stay for a weekend. Mom, good job on the living room. I may not like yellow, but you're making it cozy there, and that's awesome. :) Doug, we really need to get you a better job. Steve, she's a catch; keep her if you can! Curtis (who may never read this), keep your head up; everything will work out in the end.
